Juniper: Character in a Glass
Some ingredients are immediately recognizable – and unforgettable.
Juniper is definitely one of them.
Juniperus communis, as juniper is botanically called, has been an integral part of the beverage world for centuries. It became best known through gin – but its history goes back much further. For our aperitif JUNIPER it takes center stage. And very deliberately so.
What makes juniper so special?
Juniperus communis is an evergreen shrub that grows across the entire Northern Hemisphere – from Europe to North America to Asia. Its dark berries are the heart of it: intensely aromatic, with an unmistakable taste.
Typical for juniper is this special combination of:
- fresh pine needles
- subtle citrus notes
- a delicate, peppery spice
The result? Fresh, slightly tart, complex – with just the right amount of bitterness that makes an aperitif exciting.
More than just taste
Juniper berries have been valued for generations – not just culinarily. In traditional use, they are considered rich in antioxidants and are associated with anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties.
Even in antiquity, they were used for various purposes; in the Middle Ages, they were even burned to purify rooms. Juniper always stood for strength, protection, and vitality.
For us, it's therefore more than just an aroma – it brings depth and history to the glass.
The heart of our JUNIPER
With JUNIPER we wanted to create a non-alcoholic aperitif that is timeless and distinctive. Juniper delivers exactly that:
These slightly resinous, clear notes meet fine citrus and spice undertones. The interplay is invigorating, structured, and surprisingly multi-faceted – without alcohol, but with character.
Neat or on ice in an aperitif glass.
JUNIPER shows that non-alcoholic enjoyment doesn't have to be bland – but can be powerful, clear, and self-confident.
A Sip of Nature
Juniper connects tradition with modern drink culture. This is precisely reflected in JUNIPER: a homage to an ancient plant – translated into a contemporary, non-alcoholic aperitif.
With every sip, you taste the freshness, the spice, and the depth of this special berry. Discover this special aperitif in our shop: JUNIPER
